It's flavorful and relies on a couple of shortcut ingredients like cream of mushroom soup, instant French onion soup (or dip), and cheese . Though you'll think it's grown out of fashion, Pinterest has proven that food still maintains viral status! We present to you the foremost pinned slow-cooker recipe: this chicken stroganoff, pictured left.

Slow-Cooker Chicken and Mushroom Stroganoff RECIPE
(Serves 4)

Cook Time: 2 1/2-6 hours, counting on how briskly your slow cooker cooks


Ingredients:

cooking spray
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cubed
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
8 ounces cheese , softened
1 (10 ½-ounce) can cream of soup
1 (1¼-ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix (or dip mix)
salt and pepper, to taste
1 pound large egg noodles
fresh parsley, chopped, to garnish
Directions:


1. Lightly grease the within of a slow-cooker bowl, then top it with chicken, cream of soup , and dry onion soup (or dip) mix.


2. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until chicken is totally cooked through. FYI, in a moment Pot, using the slow-cook function on low, this only took about 2 1/2 hours.

3. About 20 minutes before you're able to serve, boil an outsized pot of water, and cook noodles consistent with package directions until tender.

4. Drain and rinse noodles under cold water to halt cooking if your stroganoff isn't quite done.

5. When chicken is totally cooked through, turn heat to the nice and cozy setting on the slow cooker. Stir in cheese until completely dissolved within the sauce.
